Online peptide therapy vs a local clinic: visits, labs, price and who each suits
The short answer
An online peptide prescription and a local clinic both need a licensed prescriber, and both fill through a pharmacy. The difference is the visit and the price shape. Online, a licensed US provider reviews a five-minute intake and a 503A pharmacy ships the protocol cold-chain, already mixed: BPC-157 is $163 month to month here, all-in. Local clinics we checked publish a separate consultation, labs and a per-item or membership price. A clinic suits you better if you want a physical exam or hands-on teaching.
How does an online prescription differ from a clinic visit?
The legal backbone is the same either way: a licensed prescriber, a patient-specific prescription and a licensed pharmacy. What changes is how you meet the prescriber, where the medication comes from and how the bill is built.
| Online (Peptides.build) | Local clinic | |
|---|---|---|
| First step | Online intake, about five minutes | Booked consultation, in the office (some also offer telehealth) |
| Who prescribes | A licensed US provider, physician oversight by Arora Health & Aesthetics, LLC | The clinic's own physician or practitioner |
| Physical exam | No | Usually yes |
| Labs | Provider decides from your intake | Often a baseline panel, drawn or ordered on site |
| Who compounds | A licensed US 503A pharmacy | Varies; ask which pharmacy fills it |
| How it arrives | Shipped cold-chain, already reconstituted and labeled | Dispensed in clinic or shipped; ask whether it is powder or mixed |
| Injection teaching | Written label and instructions | Can be shown in person |
| Price shape | One price per protocol, no membership fee | Consultation, labs and medication often billed separately, or a membership |
| BPC-157, month to month | $163 ($158/mo on 6 months) | See clinic prices below |
| Start BPC-157 |
No waiting room, no membership. A licensed provider reviews your intake, and the pharmacy ships it already mixed.
What do local peptide clinics charge?
Prices below are copied from each clinic's own page, checked October 29, 2026. Clinics bundle differently: some charge a consultation and labs before any medication, some sell a monthly membership, and some list a per-item price without saying how long it lasts. Open each source before comparing.
| Clinic | What you buy | Published price |
|---|---|---|
| Peptides.build | BPC-157, month to month, review and shipping included | $163 ($158/mo on 6 months) |
| Peptides.build | Wolverine Stack (BPC-157 + TB-500), all-in | $225 ($183/mo on 6 months) |
| Immunity Center (Burbank, CA) | Physician consultation, required before any peptide | $100, non-refundable |
| Immunity Center | Baseline lab panel (or recent labs accepted) | $298 |
| Immunity Center | BPC-157, listed item price | $359 (page does not say how long it lasts) |
| Immunity Center | Wolverine Blend (BPC-157 + TB-500) | $499 (same caveat) |
| Vita Infusion & Wellness | Peptide membership with initial and monthly practitioner visits (visits and medications also sold separately) | $350 a month |
| North Texas Medical Anti-Aging Center (Plano, TX) | Peptides, by appointment only | $100 to $200 a month, by type and dosing |
Every protocol we prescribe is priced on one page, generated from the same catalog the checkout uses.
When is an in-person clinic the better choice?
- You want a physical exam. An online intake cannot replace a clinician examining you in person.
- You want to be shown how to inject. A nurse can walk you through the first one. Online, you get a labeled vial and written instructions.
- You want labs in the same building. Many clinics draw a baseline panel on site.
- You need a protocol we do not offer. Sermorelin, NAD+, TB-500 alone, Semax alone and KPV are not offered here. Some local clinics list them.
- Your doctor already knows your history. Continuity with a local physician is worth something, especially with a complex medical history.
When does an online prescription make more sense?
- You know which protocol you are asking about and want a provider to review it without a trip.
- You want one price. The protocol price covers the provider review, compounding and cold-chain shipping, with no membership fee.
- You do not want to mix anything. It arrives already reconstituted and labeled with the concentration. See how pre-mixed works.
- There is no peptide clinic near you. We ship to all 50 states, 2 to 3 business days in transit, adult signature required.
Either way, compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and only some peptides are covered by the HHS policy of October 28, 2026. BPC-157 is; the Wolverine Stack is a blend and is outside it, still prescribed by a licensed provider after an intake. Status for every protocol is on which peptides are legal.

FAQ
Is an online peptide prescription as legitimate as a clinic visit?
It can be. In both cases a licensed clinician must write a patient-specific prescription and a licensed pharmacy must fill it. What matters is who prescribes and who compounds. Peptides.build names its provider group and its 503A pharmacies, and is HealthProtect verified.
How much does a local peptide clinic cost?
It varies by clinic and by what is bundled. On their own pages on October 29, 2026: Immunity Center lists a $100 consultation, a $298 lab panel and BPC-157 at $359; Vita Infusion & Wellness lists a membership at $350 a month; North Texas Medical Anti-Aging Center lists peptides at $100 to $200 a month.
How much does MOTS-c cost per month online?
At Peptides.build, $199 month to month, $499 for 3 months, or $949 for 6 months ($158/mo). The price includes the provider review, compounding and cold-chain shipping.
Do I need labs before starting peptides?
Requirements differ by provider and protocol. Immunity Center, for example, requires baseline labs before it dispenses. At Peptides.build a licensed provider reviews your intake and decides what is needed before prescribing anything.
Who is better off at an in-person clinic?
People who want a physical exam, hands-on injection teaching, labs drawn in the same building, a protocol we do not offer (such as sermorelin or NAD+), or care from a doctor who already knows their history.
What are the downsides of taking peptides?
Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved, and most of the research behind them is preclinical, so benefits in people are not established. Several are prohibited in drug-tested sport. Most are injections. A provider should walk you through the risks for your own history.
Are compounded peptides FDA-approved?
No. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, whether you get them through a local clinic or online.
Can an online provider ship peptides to my state?
Peptides.build ships cold-chain to all 50 states, 2 to 3 business days in transit, with an adult signature. State pharmacy and medical boards can still restrict specific peptides, so the provider checks eligibility at intake.
