DSIP peptide price: $199 a month, or $158/mo on 6 months
The short answer
Prescribed DSIP costs $199 a month at Peptides.build, $166/mo on the 3-month plan, or $158/mo on the 6-month plan ($949 billed once). That covers the licensed provider's review, compounding by a licensed 503A pharmacy, cold-chain shipping and a vial that arrives already mixed. DSIP is outside the HHS peptide policy of October 28, 2026; it is still prescribed here when a licensed provider decides it is appropriate.

Where we are not the cheapest. Rx Peps Direct charges $80 vial + $39 review + $15 shipping, per order, less than our month-to-month price for a single vial. The review and shipping repeat on every order, and it serves 28 states plus DC. Promise publishes $229 first shipment, then $279 every 28 days: the first shipment costs more than our month-to-month price, and the refills more again.

DSIP is outside the HHS peptide policy: what that means for the price
- It was voted down. On July 23 to 24, 2026, FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee voted for six peptides and against a seventh, DSIP. The HHS policy of October 28, 2026 covers only those six.
- It is still prescribed here. A licensed US provider reviews your intake and prescribes DSIP only if it is appropriate, and a licensed 503A pharmacy compounds it for you.
- A research vial is not a shortcut. Powder sold "not for human use" has no prescriber, no pharmacy and no label with your concentration, and you mix it yourself.
- Not FDA-approved. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and neither is DSIP. More: every peptide's legal status and our HHS policy explainer.
What regulators say about peptides like DSIP sold "for research use only"
These are their words, not ours. Each quote links to the official source.
“Injectable drug products can pose risks of serious harm to users. Injectable products are delivered directly into the body, sometimes directly into the bloodstream, and therefore, bypass some of the body's key defenses against toxins and microorganisms.”
“Despite statements on your product labeling marketing your products for "Research Use Only," … your products are intended to be drugs for human use.”
“[They can] contain contaminants, such as solvents, heavy metals, particles (fibers, glass, plastic), or microbials (bacteria, fungi, endotoxins).”
“This type of labelling does not make these products legal or exempt from regulatory requirements.”
HHS gave the same reason for its October 28, 2026 peptide policy: to pull patients away from research-use-only peptides supplied by foreign manufacturers. Read our HHS policy explainer.

FAQ
How much does DSIP cost per month?
$199 month to month at Peptides.build, $166/mo on 3 months or $158/mo on 6 months, with the provider review, pharmacy compounding, mixing and shipping included.
How much is DSIP elsewhere?
As published on October 30, 2026: Pepti $249 per month, Promise $229 first shipment, then $279 every 28 days, Rx Peps Direct $80 vial + $39 review + $15 shipping, per order. A research vial from American Peptides is $55 per vial for 5 mg of powder, sold not for human use.
Is Peptides.build the cheapest place for prescribed DSIP?
Not per order. Rx Peps Direct's $80 vial + $39 review + $15 shipping, per order is lower than our month-to-month price for one vial, though the review and shipping repeat on every order and it serves 28 states plus DC. Pepti, Promise and Zepym publish higher monthly prices than ours.
Is DSIP covered by the HHS peptide policy?
No. FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee voted against DSIP in July 2026, and the HHS policy of October 28, 2026 does not include it. At Peptides.build it is still prescribed only when a licensed provider decides it is appropriate after your intake, and compounded by a licensed 503A pharmacy.
How much does DSIP help with sleep?
We cannot promise a result. DSIP was first isolated in 1970s sleep research, and reviews describe human and animal findings that are mixed. It is not FDA-approved for any use. A licensed provider decides if it is appropriate for you.
How long can you take DSIP, and where is it injected?
Both are set by your provider and printed on the pharmacy label. We do not give dosing or injection advice on this page.
Can I pay for DSIP with Klarna, Afterpay or Affirm?
Yes, all three are offered at checkout, so a 3- or 6-month plan can be split into smaller payments.
Is there a membership fee or does insurance pay?
There is no membership or consult fee; the plan price is the whole price. Compounded peptides are generally paid out of pocket, so ask your plan about your own coverage.
Tired of reconstituting?
A licensed US provider reviews a short online intake. If DSIP is appropriate, a licensed US 503A pharmacy compounds it and ships it cold-chain, already reconstituted and labeled with the concentration. DSIP is outside the HHS peptide policy and is prescribed only after that review.
