Start your Semax / Selank visit · from $183/moQuick answer: how do you calculate Semax / Selank units?
To calculate Semax or Selank units, divide the milligrams in the vial by the millilitres of liquid to get the concentration, divide your prescribed dose in milligrams by that concentration to get the volume, then multiply the volume in mL by 100 for units on a U-100 syringe. Semax and Selank are usually separate vials, so run the math once per vial. Example: a 5 mg vial with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water is 2.5 mg/mL, so if your prescription says 150 mcg (0.15 mg), you draw 0.06 mL, which is 6 units.
Semax / Selank dosing chart in units
Units to draw on a U-100 syringe for common Semax / Selank vial sizes and water volumes. Find your vial on the left and read across to the dose on your prescription. This is a conversion table, not a dosing recommendation; a dash means the dose is larger than the vial.

Pre-mixed Semax and Selank: reading the pharmacy label
Most Semax and Selank calculators assume a 5 mg or 10 mg freeze-dried vial of one peptide mixed with 2 mL of water. A compounding pharmacy prescription usually arrives as a liquid, one vial per peptide, each labeled with its own concentration in mg/mL or mcg/mL. A label of 1,000 mcg/mL is the same as 1 mg/mL.
Divide your prescribed dose in mg by that label concentration to get mL, then multiply by 100 for units: 150 mcg (0.15 mg) from a 1 mg/mL vial is 0.15 mL, or 15 units. Do the same for the second vial with its own label and its own prescribed dose; the two numbers are usually different. Switch the calculator above to Pre-mixed vial and type the label strength.
Keep the two vials apart in your head as well as in the fridge. Semax and Selank are often prescribed together but they are different peptides with different label strengths, and drawing one with the other's units is the most common mistake on this pair.

0.15 mg ÷ 1 mg/mL = 0.15 mL

Use the volume your pharmacy or prescriber specifies. The water changes only the concentration, never the amount of Semax / Selank in the vial: more water means more units for the same dose.

When Semax or Selank units fall between syringe lines
Doses for this pair are small, so concentrated vials give short draws: 150 mcg from a 10 mg vial mixed with 2 mL (5 mg/mL) is 3 units, and from the same vial mixed with 1 mL it is 1.5 units, which the calculator flags as hard to measure. More water for the same vial makes the draw longer and easier to read.
A 0.3 mL syringe is marked every unit (some every half unit) and is the usual fit for draws under 30 units. If the result is under 2 units, or is larger than your syringe holds, ask your pharmacist or prescriber whether a different concentration fits your dose; do not change the amount of water or the dose on your own.
New to syringe units? The general peptide calculator has a units-to-mL table and a side-by-side of 0.3, 0.5 and 1 mL syringes.
Semax / Selank calculator FAQ
How many units of Semax or Selank do I draw?
Units = dose (mg) ÷ concentration (mg/mL) × 100. For a 5 mg vial mixed with 2 mL (2.5 mg/mL), a prescription of 150 mcg is 0.06 mL, or 6 units on a U-100 syringe. Run the calculation separately for each peptide; the dose itself comes from your prescription.
Do Semax and Selank come in one vial?
Usually not. They are prescribed as two separate vials, each with its own strength and its own dose, so you calculate twice. Ask your pharmacist before combining two vials in one syringe. If a pharmacy does supply a combined vial, its label prints a concentration for each peptide; use the one your dose is written for.
How much bacteriostatic water do I add to 5 mg of Semax or Selank?
Use the volume your pharmacy or prescriber specifies. The water does not change the amount of peptide, only the concentration: 1 mL makes 5 mg/mL (50 mcg per unit), 2 mL makes 2.5 mg/mL (25 mcg per unit) and 5 mL makes 1 mg/mL (10 mcg per unit). Peptides.build prescriptions arrive pre-mixed, so patients never add water.
My Semax or Selank vial came pre-mixed. How do I convert my dose to units?
Read the concentration on the pharmacy label, for example 1 mg/mL (1,000 mcg/mL). Divide your prescribed dose in mg by it to get mL, then multiply by 100: 0.15 mg ÷ 1 mg/mL = 0.15 mL = 15 units. Choose Pre-mixed vial in the calculator to do this automatically.
Does this calculator work for Semax or Selank nasal spray?
No. Nasal sprays are dosed by the number of sprays or drops, and the amount per spray is printed on the bottle. This page is for injectable vials measured in U-100 syringe units. If your prescription is a nasal spray, follow the pharmacy label and your provider's instructions.
Is the math different for N-Acetyl Semax or Selank amidate?
No. N-Acetyl Semax, N-Acetyl Semax Amidate and Selank amidate are modified forms with their own schedules, but converting a prescribed dose into units uses the same formula. Make sure the vial label names the same form as your prescription before you calculate.
How should Semax and Selank be stored once mixed?
Follow the storage line on each pharmacy label. Reconstituted peptides are typically kept refrigerated, not frozen, and used before the beyond-use date. Do not use a vial that looks cloudy or has particles; contact the pharmacy.
Are Semax and Selank FDA-approved?
No. Neither Semax nor Selank is FDA-approved for any use in the United States, although both are approved medicines in Russia, and compounded medications are not FDA-approved. When they are prescribed here, a licensed provider decides whether they are appropriate for the individual patient.
Are Semax and Selank allowed in competitive sport?
Neither is named on the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List. Drug-tested athletes should still check with their governing body, since anti-doping rules change yearly and some federations keep their own lists.
Does this calculator tell me how much Semax or Selank to take?
No. It performs arithmetic only and does not recommend a dose or schedule. The dose, timing and vial strength come from your prescription and pharmacy label.
