## Quick answer: how do you calculate BPC-157 units?

To calculate BPC-157 units, divide the milligrams in the vial by the millilitres of liquid to get the concentration, divide your prescribed dose in milligrams by that concentration to get the volume, then multiply the volume in mL by 100 for units on a U-100 syringe. Example: a 5 mg vial with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water is 2.5 mg/mL, so if your prescription says 100 mcg (0.1 mg), you draw 0.04 mL, which is 4 units.

Already reconstituted

## Pre-mixed BPC-157: reading the pharmacy label

Most BPC-157 calculators assume a vial of powder that you mix yourself. A prescription from a 503A compounding pharmacy usually arrives already reconstituted, and the label states the concentration in mg/mL instead of the powder weight.

With a pre-mixed vial there is no water to add and no concentration to work out: it is printed on the label. Divide your prescribed dose in mg by that concentration to get mL, then multiply by 100 for units. Switch the calculator above to Pre-mixed vial and type the label strength.

The label also shows the beyond-use date. Doses per vial only count until that date, so check it against how many doses the calculator says the vial holds.

Worked example (pre-mixed vial)

```
label: 2.5 mg/mL   prescription: 100 mcg (0.1 mg)
0.1 mg ÷ 2.5 mg/mL = 0.04 mL
0.04 mL × 100 = 4 units
```

Blend vials

## BPC-157 + TB-500 blend calculator

In a blend vial both peptides dissolve into the same water, so every unit you draw carries both of them in the vial's ratio. Enter the BPC-157 dose on your prescription and the calculator shows the units to draw and how much TB-500 comes with it.

Skip the blend math

The Wolverine Stack is prescribed as a pre-mixed BPC-157 and TB-500 blend, already reconstituted by a licensed US 503A pharmacy and labeled with the concentration. No BAC water, no ratios to work out.

A 1:1 blend (5 + 5 mg, 10 + 10 mg) delivers the same amount of each peptide per draw. An uneven blend does not: in a 5 mg BPC-157 + 10 mg TB-500 vial, every draw carries twice as much TB-500 as BPC-157.

The two amounts cannot be adjusted separately inside one vial. If a prescription calls for a different ratio, that needs a different blend or two separate vials, which is a question for the prescriber and pharmacy.

Reconstitution

## How much BAC water for 5 mg or 10 mg of BPC-157

Use the volume your pharmacy or prescriber specifies. The water changes only the concentration, never the amount of BPC-157 in the vial: more water means more units for the same dose.

5 mg vial
| Water | mg/mL | mcg per unit |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 1 mL | 5 | 50 |
| 2 mL | 2.5 | 25 |
| 2.5 mL | 2 | 20 |
| 3 mL | 1.67 | 16.7 |
| 5 mL | 1 | 10 |

10 mg vial
| Water | mg/mL | mcg per unit |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 1 mL | 10 | 100 |
| 2 mL | 5 | 50 |
| 2.5 mL | 4 | 40 |
| 3 mL | 3.33 | 33.3 |
| 5 mL | 2 | 20 |

Reading the syringe

## When the units do not land on a syringe line

Calculated units are often a decimal, such as 6.7 units. Syringes are marked in whole units (0.3 mL and 0.5 mL syringes) or every 2 units (most 1 mL syringes), so a smaller syringe is easier to read accurately for small draws.

Draws under 2 units are hard to measure on any standard syringe. If your result is that small, or larger than your syringe holds, ask your pharmacist or prescriber whether a different concentration fits your dose better. Do not change the dilution on your own.

New to syringe units? The [general peptide calculator](https://peptides.build/tools/peptide-calculator/) has a units-to-mL table and a side-by-side of 0.3, 0.5 and 1 mL syringes.

Common questions

## BPC-157 calculator FAQ

### How many units of BPC-157 do I draw?

It depends on the vial's concentration and the dose on your prescription. Units = dose (mg) ÷ concentration (mg/mL) × 100. For a 5 mg vial mixed with 2 mL (2.5 mg/mL), a prescription of 100 mcg is 0.04 mL, or 4 units on a U-100 syringe.

### How much bacteriostatic water do I add to 5 mg of BPC-157?

Use the volume your pharmacy or prescriber specifies. The water does not change the amount of BPC-157, only the concentration: 1 mL makes 5 mg/mL (50 mcg per unit), 2 mL makes 2.5 mg/mL (25 mcg per unit) and 3 mL makes about 1.67 mg/mL. Peptides.build prescriptions arrive pre-mixed, so patients never add water.

### How much bacteriostatic water do I add to 10 mg of BPC-157?

Again, follow your pharmacy's instructions. With 10 mg: 1 mL makes 10 mg/mL (100 mcg per unit), 2 mL makes 5 mg/mL (50 mcg per unit) and 2.5 mL makes 4 mg/mL (40 mcg per unit). More water means more units for the same dose, which makes small doses easier to measure.

### My BPC-157 vial came pre-mixed. How do I convert my dose to units?

Read the concentration on the pharmacy label, for example 2.5 mg/mL. Divide your prescribed dose in mg by it to get mL, then multiply by 100: 0.1 mg ÷ 2.5 mg/mL = 0.04 mL = 4 units. Choose Pre-mixed vial in the calculator to do this automatically.

### How do I calculate a BPC-157 and TB-500 blend?

Divide each peptide's mg by the mL in the vial to get two concentrations. Your BPC-157 dose sets the volume you draw, and that same volume delivers TB-500 at its own concentration. In a 5 + 5 mg vial with 2 mL, 4 units carries 100 mcg of each.

### What if my BPC-157 dose does not fit my syringe?

A 0.3 mL syringe holds 30 units, 0.5 mL holds 50 and 1 mL holds 100. If the calculated units are larger than your syringe, use a larger U-100 syringe or ask your pharmacist about the concentration. Never split or change a dose without your prescriber.

### How should BPC-157 be stored once mixed?

Follow the storage line on the pharmacy label. Reconstituted peptides are typically kept refrigerated, not frozen, and used before the beyond-use date on the label. Do not use a vial that looks cloudy or discolored; ask the pharmacy.

### Is BPC-157 FDA-approved?

No. BPC-157 is not FDA-approved for any use, and compounded medications are not FDA-approved. When it is prescribed, a licensed provider decides whether it is appropriate for the individual patient.

### Is BPC-157 allowed in competitive sport?

No. The World Anti-Doping Agency lists BPC-157 among prohibited non-approved substances, banned at all times. Athletes who are drug-tested should check with their governing body before using it.

### Does this calculator tell me how much BPC-157 to take?

No. It performs arithmetic only and does not recommend a dose. The dose, schedule and vial strength come from your prescription and pharmacy label.
