# Peptides for women: skin, recovery, sleep and weight protocols, priced and prescribed

Updated October 29, 2026 · Prices from the live catalog

## The short answer

Women asking about peptides usually start from one of five goals: skin, recovery, sleep, longevity or weight management. Peptides.build prescribes options for each, including GHK-Cu and the Glow Stack for skin and compounded semaglutide for weight management, from $68/mo, after a licensed US provider reviews an online intake. None is a hormone therapy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and anyone pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding should not start any of them.

Five goals

## Which peptides can women get prescribed, and what does the research cover?

Each table lists live protocols for one goal. The research column summarizes what has been examined, usually in animals or cells, and promises nothing. The status pill shows where each protocol stands under the HHS policy of October 28, 2026; prices were generated from the catalog on October 29, 2026.

**Skin.** Copper peptide on its own, or inside two blends that pair it with repair peptides.

Skin: protocols women ask about, USD
| Protocol | Status | Research to date | From | |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [GHK-Cu](https://peptides.build/protocols/ghk-cu/) | Not named in the policy | Copper-binding tripeptide; most human data are topical cosmetic studies, the injectable rests on lab and animal work | $158/mo | |
| [Glow Stack](https://peptides.build/protocols/glow-stack/) | Blend: outside policy | GHK-Cu with BPC-157 and TB-500: skin and connective-tissue remodeling plus repair research | $183/mo | |
| [KLOW Stack](https://peptides.build/protocols/klow-stack/) | Blend: outside policy | The Glow trio plus KPV, a tripeptide researched for inflammatory pathways in the gut | $183/mo | |

**Recovery.** For training wear and soft-tissue strain. One is single-ingredient, one is a blend.

Recovery: protocols women ask about, USD
| Protocol | Status | Research to date | From | |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [BPC-157](https://peptides.build/protocols/bpc-157/) | Covered by HHS policy | Gastric-protein fragment examined mostly in rat models of tendon, ligament and gut healing | $158/mo | |
| [Wolverine Stack](https://peptides.build/protocols/wolverine-stack/) | Blend: outside policy | BPC-157 with TB-500, an actin-binding fragment; the combination has never been trialed | $183/mo | |

**Sleep and calm.** Mechanism research, little human data, and no sedative effect to expect.

Sleep and calm: protocols women ask about, USD
| Protocol | Status | Research to date | From | |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [DSIP](https://peptides.build/protocols/dsip/) | Voted against, outside policy | Isolated in deep-sleep research; 1980s reviews describe mixed human and animal findings | $158/mo | |
| [Semax / Selank](https://peptides.build/protocols/semax-selank/) | Blend: outside policy | Russian-developed neuropeptides; Selank explored for calm without sedation | $183/mo | |

**Longevity.** Both are single-ingredient and both are covered by the HHS policy.

Longevity: protocols women ask about, USD
| Protocol | Status | Research to date | From | |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Epitalon](https://peptides.build/protocols/epitalon/) | Covered by HHS policy | Four-amino-acid pineal-extract analog; a 2003 cell study plus one program's animal work | $158/mo | |
| [MOTS-c](https://peptides.build/protocols/mots-c/) | Covered by HHS policy | Encoded in mitochondrial DNA; animal metabolism studies and exercise-linked human samples | $158/mo | |

**Weight management.** Weekly GLP-1 injections. Their randomized trials belong to the branded drugs.

Weight management: protocols women ask about, USD
| Protocol | Status | Research to date | From | |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Compounded Semaglutide](https://peptides.build/protocols/compound-semaglutide/) | FDA-approved brand exists | Same active ingredient as Wegovy and Ozempic; compounded, so not FDA-approved | $68/mo | |
| [Compounded Tirzepatide](https://peptides.build/protocols/compound-tirzepatide/) | FDA-approved brand exists | Same active ingredient as Zepbound and Mounjaro; compounded, so not FDA-approved | $118/mo | |

Before you start

## Who should not start a peptide protocol?

- **Pregnancy, trying to conceive, breastfeeding.** Listed as a reason to avoid on every protocol in the catalog, without exception.
- **An active cancer diagnosis,** unless your oncologist clears it.
- **For the GLP-1s:** a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2, a history of pancreatitis without your own physician's clearance, or another GLP-1 already in use.

The provider screens for all of this at intake and prescribes only if a protocol is appropriate for you.

Hormones and menopause

## Do any of these protocols treat hormones or menopause?

No. Several pages ranking for this search discuss menopause. Nothing on this page is a hormone replacement, Peptides.build does not prescribe hormone therapy, and we make no menopause claims for any protocol. GHK-Cu, the skin protocol in this catalog, is a copper-binding peptide whose plasma level falls with age; its strongest human data come from topical cosmetic studies, not injections. Read [What is GHK-Cu?](https://peptides.build/learn/what-is-ghk-cu/)

Legal status

## Which of these does the HHS policy cover?

Three: BPC-157, Epitalon and MOTS-c, each single-ingredient. GHK-Cu is not one of the six peptides named. Semaglutide and tirzepatide have FDA-approved brands, and the compounded versions are not FDA-approved. The Glow, KLOW and Wolverine stacks and Semax / Selank are blends, outside the policy, and DSIP was voted against by FDA's advisory committee in July 2026; all of them are still prescribed by a licensed provider after an intake. See [which peptides are legal](https://peptides.build/legal/peptides/) and the [HHS policy explainer](https://peptides.build/news/hhs-peptide-policy/).

Common questions

## FAQ

### Which peptides can women get prescribed online?

Through Peptides.build: GHK-Cu, the Glow, KLOW and Wolverine stacks, BPC-157, DSIP, Semax / Selank, Epitalon, MOTS-c, and compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, among others. Eligibility is decided by a licensed provider after your intake.

### What peptide is good for women's hormones?

Peptides.build does not prescribe hormone therapy, and none of the protocols on this page replaces a hormone. If hormones or menopause are your main question, start with a clinician who can assess your labs and history.

### Is Ozempic a peptide?

Ozempic is a brand of semaglutide, a synthetic version of GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1), the hormone the gut releases after a meal. Compounded semaglutide has the same active ingredient but is not Ozempic and is not FDA-approved.

### Is peptide therapy like Ozempic?

Only the GLP-1 protocols are. Semaglutide and tirzepatide act on appetite signaling and have large trials behind the branded drugs. The other peptides here are unrelated molecules with mostly preclinical research.

### Can I use peptides while pregnant or breastfeeding?

No. Every protocol here lists pregnancy, trying to conceive and breastfeeding as reasons not to start. Tell the provider at intake if any of these applies.

### What has BPC-157 been studied for?

Animal models of tendon, ligament, muscle and gut repair. Large human trials have not been published. At Peptides.build it is single-ingredient, covered by the HHS policy, and priced from $158/mo.

### What are peptide injections?

Most protocols here are subcutaneous injections, a small needle just under the skin. They arrive from the pharmacy already reconstituted and labeled with the concentration, so there is nothing to mix. Your provider sets the protocol.

### What are the downsides of taking peptides?

Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved, human evidence is limited for most of them, and GLP-1s carry specific cautions, including thyroid cancer history and pancreatitis. A provider screens for these before prescribing.

Prescribed, not mixed at home

## Choose your goal, then your protocol

A licensed US provider reviews a short online intake. If a prescription is appropriate, a licensed 503A pharmacy compounds it and ships it cold-chain, already mixed. GHK-Cu is $199 month to month.
